Simple, reliable, and easy to wear every day, this Omega Genève Automatic is a classic 1970s dress watch with the right proportions and a clean, balanced dial layout. The warm gold-plated case pairs beautifully with the crisp silver dial, while the practical date at 3 o’clock keeps it firmly in “daily wear” territory.
The watch is fully working and supplied with a 12-month warranty. The original gold plating is intact and intentionally left with honest age patination as proof of its vintage character. The dial is original, with applied batons and original lume in both hands and indices. An Omega signed crown and an acrylic crystal with the tiny Omega logo complete the period-correct package.

About the Omega Genève Series
The Omega Genève line was introduced as a modern, accessible collection positioned below Omega’s flagship models, without compromising mechanical quality. Produced primarily from the 1960s through the late 1970s, Genève watches were designed to be robust, versatile, and affordable daily companions, often housing Omega’s most reliable automatic and manual-wind calibres. Today, the Genève series is highly regarded for offering excellent value, classic proportions, and true in-house Omega movements.
Servicing and Warranty
Fully serviced with disassembly in our Bristol shop
This Genève is powered by the Omega calibre 1012, one of Omega’s slim, high-beat automatics of the early 1970s. Introduced as part of the 10xx family, the 1012 runs at 28,800 A/h, uses 23 jewels, and was engineered with a notably thin profile (approx. 4.25 mm), helping keep the overall watch sleek on the wrist. It also delivers a healthy running time (Omega technical documentation cites 48 hours minimum) and includes a calendar corrector system that supports convenient quick date setting.
