About MILUS

“Measuring time is part of our family and cultural heritage. We grew up here, in the cradle of watchmaking, at the foot of the Swiss Jura, where people and time have faced every technical and aesthetic challenge,” said Paul William Junod, founder of Milus in 1919.

Milus, founded in 1919 by Paul William Junod in Bienne, Switzerland, embodies Swiss watchmaking tradition. After his death in 1951, his son, Paul Herbert Junod, modernized the company, increasing production and winning multiple awards in the 1970s.

During the 1970s quartz crisis, Milus adapted by creating the first electronic watch with a liquid crystal display. In 1982, Paul Herbert Junod’s sons, Pierre and Paul, took over, continuing the innovation.

In 2006, Milus launched the Triretrograde line, known for its pioneering design. Celebrating its centenary in 2019, Milus, under Luc Tissot, introduced models that blend precision, technical excellence, and timeless design, reaffirming its legacy in watchmaking
