Since Rolex has officially ended the “Pepsi” GMT era, it’s only natural to look for alternatives – and this is a genuinely fun vintage answer. A bold 1980s Croton Aquamatic with an oversized, comfortable presence on the wrist, a famous Pepsi bezel you’ll catch yourself rotating for no reason, and a very strong “Submariner” dial layout with Mercedes hands and a lollipop seconds.

The black dial is paired with warm gold-tone details and a freshly renewed vintage-style lume (non-radioactive), which gives the watch excellent legibility day or night. Add the day window at 12 and date at 3, and you’ve got a proper “daily beater” format with loads of character.
