This Original military Longines from the 1944 was manufactured for the West-End-Watch Co brand (Nr.1 watch distributor in Easetern/Indian region) and bears a military issued stamp on the caseback, CS(I) – Civil Services (British army corps in India.)
This timepiece is driven by a Longines 10.68Z with the serial number #6797028 that points to the production date of 1944. in near-perfect condition, the movement runs well after full servicing with great accuracy and lengthy power reserve (12-month warranty is applied).
We have kept this watch as original as possible, keeping the patination/oxidation on the dial, Preserving the case shape with no refinishing and including the original crystal. Other examples of this piece are found to be over polished and have reprinted dials.
