Super stylish and unusual vintage NIXA watch. The original dial of this 1950’s timepiece has an intriguing deep black and copper gold colour combination, with red date numerals. The Venus 227 movement used was also widely used by Breitling, which authenticates the great quality of the caliber. The movement is signed “LIBELLE”. The interesting minimalistic design, of the black and copper gold colour combination of the dial, numerals and indices, and finished off with the large, statement copper gold ‘Dauphine’ style hands makes this timepiece an unusual and eye-catching addition to any collection.
About Nixa
Nixa (as well as the company Libelle) was founded by Emile Juillard SA in the 1930’s. Very little else is known of the brand, although Emile Juillard SA may be connected to Abraham-Louis Juillard, who founded the famous company Cortébert in Switzerland in 1790, although the Cortébert trademark was not registered until 1855.
Servicing and Guarantee
This timepiece has been serviced with full disassembly in our Bristol workshop. There is a 12-month guarantee, subject to the usage and care guidelines. New, genuine leather black snakeskin style strap.
