Cool 1970’s French Reglex diver’s watch in rarely seen great original unrestored condition. This 50-year old timepiece is a great size for daily wearing, and the movement is reliable and runs like new.
Key Features
70’s style tonneau shaped chrome plated case with black rotating bezel. The stainless steel caseback has an interesting aqua diver design. The black dial is eye-catching, with a small seconds subdial above numeral six, and bright orange indices around the outer edge, above each Arabic numeral. The silver-tone, lume-filled, ‘arrow’ style hands give the whole appearance of the dial a very confident air, while its dark tones are shown off very nicely by the contrasting bright silver-tone of the surrounding case.
About the Brand
Like so many watch brands, Reglex was forced to close due to the Swiss watchmaking crisis – which until 1969 held 90% of the world market in the sector – began with the advent of quartz watches. Not much is known about the company, apart from that it was a brand mainly sold in France.
Servicing and Guarantee
This timepiece has been serviced with full disassembly in our Bristol workshop. There is a 12-month guarantee on the accurate functioning of the mechanism, as long as usage and care guidelines are followed correctly. The watch comes with a high-quality nylon strap.
