A vivid and highly characteristic Atlantic Seahunter from the 1970s, featuring the classic professional orange diver dial that became an industry standard after the late-1960s. Fluorescent orange with high-contrast black graphics – a functional solution, remaining exceptionally readable in bright light and in mid-light conditions. While orange is rarely used in “civil” watch lines, it is one of the most practical and wearable colour schemes ever developed for tool watches. This Seahunter combines that unmistakable dial with a solid steel case, 20 ATM-rated construction, and a purposeful diver bezel – an authentic Swiss sports watch with real vintage presence.

Although compact on paper, the case is notably thick and substantial, giving the watch more presence than the raw dimensions suggest. The 19 mm lug width helps the watch fit confidently on the wrist, and the orange dial makes it a perfect “statement tool watch” that still remains practical and easy to wear. The watch is in very good vintage condition, with an unpolished case showing light wear consistent with age. The dial is in perfect condition, with attractive tritium-tone lume on the markers and hands. The screw-down crown threads correctly.

Atlantic is a historic Swiss watch brand with roots in early 20th-century Swiss watchmaking, widely recognised across Europe for producing dependable, well-priced mechanical watches with excellent everyday usability (Tissot grade). Inside is the reliable A. Schild AS 1882/83 automatic. The date quick-change method: after midnight date change move the hands back to approximately 8:30 PM – typical of many 1960-70s calibres.
