2.1183 INVICTA ‘SQUARE SINCE 1837’ REF 2308, SWISS 1970s
£330.00
Nice square Invicta from early 1970s, very unusual date position and really nice item condition. Due to square shape the case feels moderately large and pleasantly wearable on the wrist.
About Invicta
Invicta was founded in 1837 in Switzerland by Raphael Picard and was later revived in 1991 by Eyal Lalo after a period of financial trouble and ownership changes. Now based in Florida, the brand blends Swiss craftsmanship with bold, affordable designs and acquired Swiss watchmaker Glycine in 2016 to expand its portfolio.
Known for its wide range of styles, including Swiss-made models, Invicta has partnered with celebrities like Jason Taylor and Shaquille O’Neal to launch signature watch lines. In 2023, its retail division filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, leading to the closure of some physical stores.
