2.1050 SANDOZ ALARM, ST.STEEL SWISS 1970s

This vintage Sandoz wristwatch features all of the benefits of a dress watch with functionality, making it a great choice for any collector looking for a stylish daily wear. Besides absolutely timeless and actual design, this watch has a complicated movement featuring loud alarm and date functions.

The alarm is particularly loud due to a specific technical solution – the caseback is resting on a flexible rubber ring, which turns the whole caseback into a membrane with high vibration conductivity. When alarm goes off the sound is louder and clearer compared to most of wrist alarms that we have ever serviced and tested.

How to operate the alarm (Swiss Made AS 1931):

• Use the top crown to wind up the alarm mainspring, then pull it out to set alarm trigger time (counter-clockwise only), leave the crown pulled out.
• Use the bottom crown to set time (please turn hands forward only). When time corresponds the alarm time, it makes buzz +/- 5 min mechanical tolerances).
• Buzzing can be stopped by pushing the top crown in.
• Quick date change by turning hands back to 9pm.
