Key Features
This is a charmingly small diver, at just 31mm across and with a 16mm strap, it’s highly wearable. Features a metallic red tone ‘Cherry Cola’ dial, with a sky blue band separating the middle where the date indicator sits, at the 3 position. The black diving countdown bezel has a very reflective red tone segment around the 45 to 60 minute marking. Lume blocks sit at the indices, and the eccentrically shaped baton minute and arrow shaped hour hands glow as brightly as the rest of the lume. We’ve paired it with a 16mm black leather strap, but any compatible strap can be swapped out instore if desired!
About Montres Airain
Montres Airain, established in 1934 by the Dodane family, is a brand that rose to prominence in the 1950s as an aircraft chronograph supplier. Several specifications were required for such a mechanism, including a bi-directional bezel and minimum 35hr power reserve among other things, so that it was suitable for military use. Named the Type 20 chronograph, this piece of horological technology forms the DNA of most Airain watches and has informed the iconic design.
