Key Features
This vintage Wostok watch is a very rare and fascinating piece of history. Dating to approximately 1959 (according to a stamp on the movement bearing this date), the watch is a commemoration of the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship, Alliance and Mutual Assistance – an agreement of friendship between China and the Soviet Union which was established in 1950. The chrome case is an interesting, unusual shape, while the dial is decorated with the sketch of a Chinese style building surrounded by birds, with shining gold painted Chinese indices around the outer edge. Upon first glance it is impossible to take in every careful detail hidden on the dial, but on closer inspection one will notice the incredible craftsmanship of the delicate drawings, and lovely gold lettering.
There are even fake replica versions this model, as it is popular and historic value so high. However, this timepiece is an entirely genuine model produced in 1959.

This timepiece has been serviced with full disassembly in our Bristol workshop. There is a 12-month guarantee, subject to the usage and care guidelines. Comes with a new, genuine leather strap in brown.
