About Jaquet-Droz

The Droz family is primarily known for the name of the mechanic Jaquet-Droz, who created unique watches and mechanical automatons. However, among the watchmakers of the Droz family there were more than two dozen professionals who made amazing watches and movements. In the 20th century, Jaquet-Droz was a successful mid-class watch brand sourcing components from Swiss factories. Their slogan ‘150 manufacturers = 1 trademark’ meant choosing best practice from the market and combine components into a solid high-quality product. Through the XX century Jaquet-Droz has developed into the top-grade luxury timepieces manufactory.
