About Festina
Festina is a watch brand founded in Switzerland in 1902, later becoming part of the Spanish Festina-Lotus Group following its acquisition by businessman Miguel Rodríguez in 1984. Originally established by the Stüdi family in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the brand changed hands several times before relocating to Barcelona during World War II. Over the years, Festina expanded its portfolio to include Swiss-made brands such as Candino and Perrelet, the latter dating back to 1777.
Today, the Festina Group owns multiple watch and jewelry brands, including Lotus, Jaguar, and Calypso, with operations spanning over 90 countries. The group maintains headquarters in Madrid and production facilities in both Spain and Switzerland. Known for its presence in sports marketing, particularly cycling, Festina has also positioned itself in the lifestyle segment through celebrity partnerships.
