Geometry. Symmetry. Discipline. This exceptional Talis “Deco RotaSquare” is a refined example of 1970s Swiss design thinking, where Art Deco principles are translated into horology with confidence and precision. A square dial housed within a round case may sound contradictory, yet here it is resolved with striking elegance and balance.
The square form is not merely decorative: it is engineered directly into the case, using a square aperture mask that forms part of the case body itself. The result is a strong architectural composition, cleanly framed and visually disciplined.
Slim at just 7.9 mm thick, this watch wears elegantly and comfortably on the wrist. The Deco-inspired textures, disciplined geometry, and restrained proportions make it a compelling choice for collectors interested in design-led Swiss watches and lesser-known brands with genuine originality.

The Peseux 7040 is a slim, hand-wound Swiss movement specifically designed without a central seconds hand, allowing for an exceptionally thin profile. Its minimalist architecture made it a popular choice for ultra-slim dress watches, combining reliability with elegant proportions.
