2.0713 OTTOMAN EMPIRE ‘QUANTIEME’ MOONPHASE CALENDAR, SWISS 1890s

This rare full calendar pocket watch features unique Ottoman numerals for days and months on its original unrestored enamel dial. The hot enamel with a glass glazing layer gives the dial a deep, rich appearance. The watch is hallmarked for 0.800 Swiss silver and Germany silver, with a ‘JW’ case makers hallmark. Its dust cover is inscribed ‘Ancre QUANTIEME Remontoir 15 Rubis’. Time is set by pushing a pin at 4 o’clock, with hands adjusted forward only. The date, day, month, and moonphase indications have pin-pusher correctors on the bezel sides. Recently serviced, it comes with a 6-month warranty.
