Key Features
This oversized French diver is a refreshing find for our vintage collection. The movement is over 50 years old, but because of the jewelled Swiss lever escapement, it runs beautifully and is fully repairable, unlike its pin lever kin. The large (43mm excluding the crown!) chrome plated case is a squarish, rounded off edge shape, with a Pepsi colour scheme external bezel for measuring GMT time. Beneath the acrylic crystal is an internal bezel for measuring dive time, and in the centre of this concentric dense embellishment of bezels is the matte black dial. Alternating painted indices and Arabic numerals in red and white surround the steel baton style hands, which after half a century still retain enough lume to glow brightly in the dark. A terrific choice for a large wrist owner, multi-functional and fully working timepiece.
Servicing and Guarantee
This timepiece has been serviced with full disassembly in our Bristol workshop. There is a 12-month guarantee, subject to the usage and care guidelines. Comes with rare, high-quality Tropic rubber strap.
