Key Features
Vintage 1960’s high quality Swiss CAMY diver, with an elegant shape and easy-to-read black & lume dial. The watch is a very comfortable size, and fits well on the wrist. It features a hammerhead hour hand and arrow tip seconds hand, with lume triangles and print on the dial, finished off a tiny red accent in the date window – a typical set of features for French diving watches (see article). The printed numerals over the lume is an unusual feature! The case is unusually slim, with a wide ‘Fifty Fathoms’ style bezel (it’s a bit loose, sits well but rotates rather easily).
About Camy watch brand
CAMY – an old Swiss brand, was founded in Genève in 1917, and registered on 23rd February 1923 in Geneva and Grenchen by Stroun Freres SA as a horological atelier. By the 1970’s, they sold mass-market and upscale watches under the Camy, Cronel, Enzo, and Mirexal brands.
Servicing and Guarantee
This timepiece has been serviced with full disassembly. There is a 12-month guarantee, subject to the usage and care guidelines. The watch comes with a new, high-quality black hypoallergenic strap.
