This timepiece features a blend of style and functionality and is a lovely example of a 70s manual wind with an alarm function.

How to operate the alarm (Swiss Made AS 1475 movement):

– Use the top crown to wind up the alarm mainspring, then pull it out to set alarm trigger time (counter-clockwise only), leave the crown oulled out.
– Use the bottom crown to set time (please turn hands forward only). When time corresponds the alarm time, it makes buzz +/1 5 min mechanical tolerances). Buzzing can be stopped by pushing the top crown in.

About Swiss Emperor

The Swiss Emperor brand was registered on the 24th of January 1959 by British entrepreneurs Kenneth Roy Gough and Jolan-Maria Ellis. The brand was then later sold to E. Gunzinger & Cie the owners of vintage brands Technos, Lator, Avalon and more.

Swiss Emperor watches were successfully presented in Littlewoods mail order catalogues from 1962 into the 1980s.
