Key Features
This watch is in very good condition. Aside from the movement running perfectly after servicing, the externals are all as they should be. Inside the gold-plated tonneau shape case is a beautiful chocolate-tone dial encircled by tapered gold-tone applied indices. We think this pairs very nicely with the new blue leather strap we’ve fitted it with. As an alarm-function watch, it comes with the standard two crowns; one for timesetting, the other for adjusting the alarm hand, which is an unusual black and white checked pattern. An interesting detail is the finishing on the movement, a lovely perlage pattern hidden away!
About Milus
Milus is a Swiss brand, founded in 1919 by watchmaker Paul William Junod. Paul was a trained watchmaker who was the head technician of the business, before his death in 1951, after which the company was taken over by his son. Milus remained a Junod family property until 2003, where they were bought out by Hong Kong based watch manufacturer Peace Mark Group, and then relaunched the company as Milus Watchmaking SA in 2004. After several handoffs through Chinese investors, the brand today is a property of Tissot, world renowned watchmaker.
