2.0948 XL INVICTA ‘INCASTAR FREESPRUNG’ JUMBO, SWISS 1960s

This Invicta boasts features that are rarely seen on 1960’s wristwatches. These include: a larger size, perfectly textured dial, super rare movement regulator type and great overall condition.

A great find for Invicta enthusiasts and collectors. Vintage Invicta timepieces are always more appealing than their modern counterparts and this one is no exception.

The ‘Jumbo’ size case is also gold plated with horn lugs, another rarity for the 1960s.  The dial is silver with a guilloche texture and rose gold risen indexes, all in excellent dial condition.

This watch is driven by the famous AS 1130 ‘Wehrmachtwerk’ movement (widely used in ‘Deutches Heer’ German Military watches) and this one is a special luxury version with 21 jewels (vs 17-jewels standard version). It also features a very rare regulator type ‘Incastar’ which is a star wheel connected to rollers which allows hairspring length adjustments directly without the use of regulator pins (Freesprung regulator type).
