A stylish vintage Bulova rectangular wristwatch, made in Switzerland in the early 1990s and clearly inspired by the elegant “Tank”-style wristwatches of the mid-20th century. The design follows the spirit of Bulova’s original 1950s rectangular dress models: long stepped lugs, a slim case profile, articulated end-link details, and a clean architectural dial layout. It is a very wearable vintage dress watch with a strong Art Deco influence, but with the practicality and reliability of a Swiss quartz movement.
The watch has an attractive cream tone dial with an enamel-like appearance, applied gold-tone pyramid indices, Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9, and a decorative rectangular small-seconds sector at 6 o’clock. The warm gold-plated case, blued-style hands, and brown leather strap create a classic period-correct colour combination. The caseback is stamped with ‘T2’ mark which means 1992 production year.
The watch is fitted with a fresh battery and a brand new high-quality leather strap. It is keeping perfect time.
