2.1034 TISSOT PR516 ‘BLUE’ AUTOMATIC, SWISS 1970

The patented PR (Particularly Resistant) 516 Tissot is precisely that; a sturdy timepiece ideal for daily wear. This model bares all three attractive marks: calendar complication, self-winding movement, and of course the PR516 ‘Particularly Resistant’ case. The dial is in near-perfect condition. Applied steel indices sit on a wicked cool blue dial that in the right light takes on an almost volcanic ash tone. The movement is a reliable Tissot 784-2 Swiss Made self-winding movement, and the serial number points to the 1970 production date.
