Key Features and Information

An all original, 1920’s French carriage clock. Carriage clocks combine a great classical look along with the advantages of a pocket watch grade precise escapement module – it is a lot of horology for a reasonable price. These types of clocks have an interesting history too, as they have been in production since the 1900’s without any significant technical changes at all (see the very similar St James London carriage clock from decades later).

The clock has all original bevelled glass on every side, creating a fully transparent case, and comes with an original key with a thick square for winding and a thin square for setting the hands. The dial has been created using old technology, and is made of authentic hot enamel.
