Out of stock

This 1970’s vintage ANKER watch is a dark horse: An older German prototype of the Glashutte SeaQ, but its sleek, cool design is similar to that of a modern Glashutte. The movement inside is a rare USSR 2209, though all Soviet markings are hidden – this historical object must have seen some things! The case, dial and assembly are all by Anker, West Germany. Everything is in fabulous condition, including the original chrome plating with a black rotating bezel.

Key Features

The black dial contrasting with the yellow numerals is an interesting touch. Don’t forget to look at the caseback either, the detailed diver engraving really adds some flair. This watch is photogenic as well as looking good on the wrist, its traces of age only lend it more of an air of intrigue, especially when you know the possibilities of where this watch and the movement inside have been.
