Historical & antiquarian notes

Swiss James Calame-Robert family manufacture registered its name in 1880 and was well-known due to solid chronometer making experience. Most of watches were based on “ebauche” blanks, just finished and assembled in J.Calame-Robert. Very special watches were high-class chronometers (we can ever find a Tourbillion by J-C-R in British Museum).

The main feature of this watch is metal silver-gold dial. This style was highly-demanded in The East and South America. It’s made using complex technology including triple gold plating and metal application. With reflection of light it looks just stunning. Everyone will be surprised to see such a wrist “true antique” timepiece with original 120-years old movement, ticking and counting the time.
