Historical notes

DENT, “Watchmaker to the Queen” one of the most well-known true English brands in watchmaking. The company was established by Edward J. Dent in 1814. Showing good results in chronometric competitions, Dent London became a supplier of Royal Navy, Royal Court, and Royal Observatory, Greenwich. Dent also made probably the most famous clock in the world – the Great Clock for the Houses of Parliament, familiarly known as Big Ben.

This movement originally was produced in 1880s as gold gentlemans pocket watch.Movement class is higher-precision lever-type chronometer. The design, layout and production are pure English.
